I’ve jumped on the ship of B2B SaaS in 2014 after meeting Quentin Nickmans and Thibaud Elzière, who had just founded eFounders. I actually started my career in the corporate world (telecommunications, and management consulting at McKinsey & Co). At that time, SaaS was not sexy or a career topic in itself, and very few people understood my move. I fell in love with the industry though, joined Mailjet (acquired by Mailgun) as the right hand of the CEO after series A, and launched the first international roll-out of Weebly (acquired by Square) in France, as their country manager.
My most recent role was at Qonto, the leading B2B neobank. I joined from day 1, pre-MVP, and I owned one metric: the monthly recurring revenue (MRR), which I grew from 0 to 1M€+ in less than 3 years. I built the largest B2B SaaS growth team in France (and probably one of the major ones in Europe). The greatest perk I had during these years was to hire, manage, and learn from this incredibly talented team.
I am a strong believer in ‘paying it forward’, so I try to give as much advice as I can when I am asked to (and when I think my experience is relevant). I have decided to start this blog series just to make it more scalable, which has always been an obsession in everything I do, and one of the reasons why I think SaaS is Beautiful :)
